Renovating older homes

We take them up, see what is underneath and tell you honestly whether the subfloor is suitable for laminate or needs preparing first.
Laminate over floorboards
Laminate can only go over floorboards if they are sound, dry and level. If some creak or have sagged, they are fixed first, and larger unevenness is covered with boards. We decide at the visit, once we have seen the floor.
