Panel-block districts
In panel blocks the most common job is taking up the old floor – vinyl, carpet or worn laminate – and checking the screed underneath. It is often uneven, and an uneven subfloor is the main reason laminate creaks.
Slaveykov
Panel blocks with smaller rooms and hallways. The €150 minimum order often applies here, when only one room or the hallway is being done.
Izgrev
Panel blocks and new residential buildings. In older flats we take up the old floor first; in new ones we watch the moisture in fresh screed.
Zornitsa
A mix of panel blocks and new builds. Laminate is the most common choice when renovating before moving in or before selling.
Bratya Miladinovi
Panel and brick blocks. We often replace the floor in the whole flat at once – with the same laminate and threshold strips to the kitchen and bathroom.
The centre and older districts
In older brick buildings there is often old parquet or floorboards under the floor. Laminate can go over them if they are sound, dry and level – we check this at the visit.
Centre
Older brick buildings with high ceilings and old parquet. If the parquet is sound and level, the laminate goes straight over it, with no need to tear it out.
Vazrazhdane
Older and renovated buildings near the centre. There is often a difference in level between rooms, which we finish with threshold strips.
Lazur
Older blocks and new buildings near the Sea Garden. We work on full renovations as well as quick floor replacements before new tenants.
New builds and houses
In new builds the floor is usually fresh screed. Laminate must not go on a damp base, so we check that the screed has dried. In houses we allow for cold and moisture from below and choose a suitable underlay.
Sarafovo
New residential buildings and houses near the sea. We recommend water-resistant laminate and an underlay with a vapour barrier on concrete.
Kraimorie
Houses and new builds by the sea, some of them let out. Renovating outside the season is easiest, and the floor needs to cope with moisture and sand.
Dolno Ezerovo and Gorno Ezerovo
Houses and older buildings. The floor is often cold or uneven – we prepare the subfloor and choose an underlay with better insulation.
Vetren, Banevo, Pobeda and Akatsiite
Houses and small blocks. We work on whole-house renovations, doing the rooms one after another.
One price across the city

Which laminate for which home
For most flats, 8 mm class 32 laminate is enough. For hallways, kitchens and rental properties class 33 is better, and by the sea a water-resistant laminate. More in how to choose laminate flooring.

Do you work in every district of Burgas?
Yes. We come for a free home visit in any district of Burgas, including Sarafovo, Kraimorie, Dolno Ezerovo and Vetren.
Can laminate go over old parquet?
Yes, if the parquet is sound, dry and level. If some blocks creak or have sunk, they are fixed first. We decide at the visit.
When can laminate go down in a new build?
Once the screed has fully dried. We check the moisture at the visit and tell you when fitting is possible.
Can we replace the floor in just one room?
Yes. The minimum order is €150, so we come for a single room or a hallway too.
