What is not included
Materials – the laminate, underlay, skirting and threshold strips – are bought separately. You can buy them yourself from any shop, and if you are still choosing, we will help you at the visit.
What affects the final price
- Floor area – the basis of the price.
- The subfloor – if it is uneven, it needs levelling before fitting.
- The old floor – removal costs €4 per m².
- Skirting – PVC or MDF, by the length of the walls.
- Fitting method – click or glued.
- Thresholds and doors – threshold strips and door trimming where needed.
How much laminate to buy
Work out the floor area and add 5–10% for cutting. For an 18 m² room that is about 19–20 m² of laminate. If you are not sure, wait for the visit – we will tell you the exact amount.
Rough budget including materials
8 mm, class 32 laminate – the most common choice for homes – costs around €10–13 per m² in Bulgarian shops. With our fitting, that comes to roughly €21–24 per m² in total, excluding skirting. Thicker laminate (10–12 mm) and class 33 cost more but last longer.
